Atlanta // Sunday Nov 2nd - Caffine and Octane

No excuses, lets' have a big Cayman turnout this Sunday. Haul youself out of bed, fire up the Cayman for a nice Sunday morning no traffic jaunt over to the Avenues, and let's have some coffee, and car talk.

Devsol (I love it when I type in ****, and then it get's "stared" out; I think we're a bit too sensative here on the site), Ben, Greg, Youngn, Chris, Brian, Rod, and anyone else I've missed (sorry) out of bed, and in your cars!!!!! Clean or dirty (you or your car!)!!!

Panera Bread Company / Avenue East Mall tomorrow; 4475 Roswell Road Marietta, GA (404-444-5907 is a phone number listed which I assume is Panera if you get lost) 8:30-11:00.

When you pull in the main entrance to the mall (at the stop light), turn to your right when you enter. We usually have a gathering of Porsches along the top row on the end nearest the main entrance if we can, although it does tend to get spread out.

As a reference, it's about 10 minutes south of Henessy Porsche.

See you there bright and early (by 8:30) so we can have all the Caymans together!

Regards!!!

Re: Atlanta // Sunday Nov 2nd - Caffine and Octane

I plan to be there with my new Cayman, probably around 9:15 after church; sounds like this is an 8:30 to 11 event? (Haven't been yet).

Yes, lasts until 11:00. It is a great gathering of cars, everything from pre-war classics, American Muscle and Hot Rods, to Italian exotica, and anything in between.

See you all there!!!!!!!!!

Re: Atlanta // Sunday Nov 2nd - Caffine and Octane

David,

I know what you mean about the **** thing. I even complained about it to Ken one time but mostly tongue in cheek. I mean its a car site for heavens sake, not a sunday school. I've been dealing with this sillyness all my life. I've had folks that simply won't say my name and others who have had the gaul to suggest that I was rude to use my name so casually. Anyway, I'll see you on Sunday.

Re: Atlanta // Sunday Nov 2nd - Caffine and Octane

Terry,
Several guys were looking at your wheels - Who makes them? It was a beautiful day, temperature could not have been better and a good turnout. I am glad we had the time change otherwise I am not sure I would have made it on time!

Gotta add - I don't know what Devsol and In3esses use to wax their cars but damn they looked good. Also saw bprezekops new CS - still had the dealer plate and only 800 miles. He even wore a suit and tie just for us!

Re: Atlanta // Sunday Nov 2nd - Caffine and Octane

Wish I could have made it, you could have seen the car with it's Road Atlanta dirt on it! Car was unbelievable out there and litterally lept from apex to apex in the S's. It was faster than some of the GT3's and Turbos and I was on street tires! Anyway, hope you all had fun and I'll try to get it on the books for December and meet you all there. Really want to hear that exhaust Shellshocked!

Greg,

They are the Turbo P, 3 piece made by RH Alurad Germany. GMP in Charlotte NC is the local distributor.

I heard your exhaust when you were leaving and it sounds great!

Mine wakes up the neighbors......

Re: Atlanta // Sunday Nov 2nd - Caffine and Octane

Good seeing everyone on Sunday!

Greg, I can bore you with my detailing regime next time, but just a couple of notes. I did a complete paint prep and wax with Swissvax in early May, and waxed it a couple of times since. Then at Croctoberfest, Rich from Gloss It got me, and I added a coat of his Gloss Shine wax the morning of the show n shine at PCNA. When I washed it on Saturday, when I dried it, I used the Gloss It detailing spray, and then went over it one more time with the detailing spray for good measure. D-ick uses Griot's. Nice exhaust by the way!

Chris, I stopped by the DE the previous weekend, saw your car but couldn't find you. I expect I'll do the next DE.

Terry, thanks for the pic. Nice new suspension and exhaust for you too!

The next PCA AuotX is the 16th (check the Peachstate website), so I hope you guys will all join in.

Regards!

David, you busted the code, D-ick. That's a riot. Guess there's no stopping a really determined person. Thanks for the compliments. I'd love to get under Terry's C4S and see the new setup. See y'all next time.
