For all you New Mexicans and those that just wish to be here, fall has truly arrived. The trees are just starting to show color and the Hummingbirds are on there way south. We have a light breeze, perfect for sailing , and the annual Cowboy Symposium is in full swing. Had a large bull elk and his family down at the pond at sunrise. Must remind him that the hunts start today. Perfect week-end for a family outing. Very little green/red to roast or dry this year and haven't seen sign of pinons from any of my trees. That's all frrom this beautiful basin in the mountains.
