We have three NM Cayman Club members by my count. All of us hours away from each other however. But maybe we should arrange some sort of drive/meet?

We could do that. Mine stays down here on a ranch in Lincoln Ct. but we have beautiful country roads. You and your first mate are always welcome as is any other Cayman owner in NM.

Since there doesn't appear to be a Zone 9 dedicated spotter thread - I saw a grey CS headed into Taos coming from the gorge this afternoon.

Man, I would love to have a Cayman out here, but the road to our house doesn't really permit it. Hmmm... how much to flat bed tow trucks cost?

Don't rule out a Cayman just because of your road. Have about a 1/2 mile old dirt ranch road and it does great. You can always use a tractor to regrade the road. Good luck.

Well, its an old post, but...

Are any of you gents coming to Escape? I will not be able to take part in many of the activities, but will be at the car show at Tanoan. In fact, it if very close to my home.

Hope to see you boys there.

Brian

I'm pretty sure the dip between the paved road and the road to the house, which is also about 1/2 mile, would rip the front bumper off! And if I fixed the dip, it would be back again after the next rain storm.

Plus, it would be too painful to listen to all the rocks banging off the car for the 1/2 mile trip to the house. Maybe I'll take it out there when it is 10 years old.

My road is uphill and have lateral bar ditches along the road. They do great in keeping road clear during rains. Have also reduced the amount of gravel on the bed of the road. It works. Hope you find a solution.
