Leander (tx) 2nd Annual Car Show Jul 19
Calling all Caymans. We plan to display our Cayman S at the show - it begins at about 4P and runs until 8P (miss some of the heat, maybe) in Leander Old Town, Texas, north of Austin on Hwy 183 and watch for signs at a traffic light. There will be a mix of old and new domestic and foreign cars, trucks and motorcycles. Entry is FREE; maybe some prizes; food available; entertainment. If you plan to attend, please let us know, and we'll try to get some space together.

thought I'd bump this one more time
if you're not doing anything this afternoon, hop in the Cayman and drive to Leander
congratulate Mr & Mrs Texas Red for being PCA's Family of the Year
hang out for a couple of hours with your Cayman friends

here's a couple of pics
TX Red and the Mrs brought two of their red cars to the show
plus my Cayman and a 93 Carrera (interesting that the sticker on it was essentially the same as the MSRP on my car, even though it was 14 years older)

Car show worked out great.. thanks, Papa in Austin, for taking the time and pictures and posting pictures to CaymanClub. There were almost 200 cars of all sizes, shapes, marques, and vintages to be seen, and weather was clear and HOT, but so what. Papa in Austin's yellow Cayman and Texas Red's red Cayman gained a lot of attention and lots of questions. Next year will be the 3rd edition of simply a free "show and shine", and we hope more Caymans will participate.
