Next Monday January 26 will be my annual trek to the Houston New Car Show at the Reliant Center. I will be meeting some of my Bimmerfester buds there. Haven't heard from him lately but Skup from this board has come the last two years. We will meet at a barbecue restaurant on South Main (I will have to get back with the exact name and address) around 6-6:30 for dinner, then go on to the show around 7ish. If you're a car guy (or girl) it's always fun to look at the latest stuff all in one place. Post here if you're interested.

Bummer, I'll miss y'all by a day! I'm heading that way Sat. morning for the Houston Supercross, then upon hearing about the Auto Show decided that it might be worth going to on Sunday (esp. since the Austin one is lame by comparison).

Boo hiss on Porsche. The show's ad mag in today's Chronicle shows Lotus and Aston Martin booths but no sign of Porsche. I remember reading something last year about them cutting back on shows but I think it's shortsighted in today's market not to be showing, especially with lots of new/updated models?

I guess Joe and I will be the only ones representing there. I'll be at Pappa's at 6 if anyone else wants to join us. Should be up to a dozen total at least.
