2009 Dallas Auto Show
Anyone going to the Dallas Auto Show this weekend? I should be there Saturday morning, and I'll be wearing my pale orange Porsche baseball hat. If you see me, say 'Howdy"!

I'll be there tomorrow morning too. I don't know what I am going to wear but I'll look for your pale orange porsche baseball hat. You know what I do have a porsche baseball hat, mine is black. Hope to see you tomorrow.

Well, all-in-all a pretty average car show. I'm not sure what I was expecting this year, but very little really grabbed me. The Porsche display was typically... ah,er,um... "understated". The most exciting thing there (aside from one amazingly attractive woman handing out brochures) was the pink milkshake that someone had spilled on the Porsche Racing Green 997.2  .
The only cars that really got much attention were the Camaro and the Challenger. And there was one concept car -- I think in the Dodge area -- that was pretty interesting. But other than that, nothing really blew me away. Still, always a good time...

I missed the car show in Dallas, but did have alot of fun in Cresson. Couple cars we got to see in action......

Really don't undrstand why the car show was not bigger, with more prototypes, like the cts-v cadillac 2dr. Or why there wasn't a 2009 Cayman.D-FW is a large car market. The new super-vette got a lot of attention. I heard the regional Porsche manager was not happy with the Porsche display.

I missed it! Have been in China for the last 2 weeks (coming back this weekend). Have to wait 'til next year.
