Good morning all,
Here is the announcement about the trip to the Stingaree restaurant tomorrow, the 24th. I must presume it has been rebuilt since Ike as it probably got flushed away like most buildings. I have made this trip once before and it's a fun drive and you will meet lots of fun folks. Be sure to let Jim Heimer know (contact information in the notice below) so he can get the proper reservations.
I hope to see some of you there.

From the LSRPCA notice:
"It's May and that means it's time for the Lone Star Region's almost annual attempt to eat all of the seafood caught in the Gulf!
Join your fellow LSRers for a quick trip to the Stingaree Restaurant on the Bolivar Penninsula on Sunday, May 24th. We will meet at the Arboretum parking lot on the west end of Memorial Park just off Memorial drive about 10:30 am, depart about 11, and arrive about 1 pm for a mid afternoon feast of the Gulf's finest - sort of like it used to be in Kemah, before electricity was invented. More details will be posted on the web shortly, but if you would like to go, please rsvp Jim Heimer at
lsrweb@earthlink.net, who can also answer any questions, so that we can get a count for the restaurant.
We look forward to seeing you there!"
