Where for mods in Houston Area?

I've had my CS for 6 months now and I'm finally ready to start with some performance mods. I'm clueless though on where to go for them. Where do you guys and girls go around the Houston area for exhausts, flash, plenum, etc. mods?

Eurocar-werk, Rice @ Gulfton, is a Softronic dealer. Eric (and his dad before him) have owned & operated the shop since the mid '70's. You might want to look him up and talk with him. His show room is filled with some fine older Porsches.

He did great work on our '75 914 when it needed remedial electrical work; went conservative on the changes, wanted to keep it close to factory specs as original, which I supported.

They also advertise in the PCA Lone Star Chapter newsletter.

Thanks, I'll look them up. Anyone else? Or maybe a better question might be, what shops to avoid, if any?

You might try RUF in Dallas.

I talked to them today and got a quote on an exhaust, header, flash upgrade. Was wondering however about the special you (Softronic) are running. Basically, is that a do-it-yourselfer type deal? Not an option for me because of my lack of...well lets just say that I could break a ball bearing!

Also they pointed me towards a B&B exhaust. I've been reading a lot on here about Borla, Capristo and maybe one other but haven't heard anything about B&B. Can you (or anyone) offer any input on this setup?

Just met with Eric at Eurocar Werks and put down money on the SRP w/4.1 Flash along with B&B headers, exhaust and tips. Can't wait for the install!

I sure will. I am SO ready to get this mod underway. It feels like I've been waiting a month already but it's only been about a week.
