Porsches2Oxford Event - July 28, 2007

On behalf of Mid-Ohio Region Porsche Club, i would like to take this opportunity to invite you and the cayman registry to attend porsches2oxford on saturday july 28th.

P2O was created five years ago as a 'casual porsche party' -- and, it is indeed just that. in 2006, we attracted 220 porsches from ten states and canada -- representing 20 different pca regions. this year we expect to attract over 300 shiny p-cars to oxford ohio.

uptown oxford is the perfect car event venue. with its quaint brick streets blocked off exclusively for our use from 6:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m., its a very unique, small-town location with convenient shopping, food, and lodging. The Elms hotel is located right in the heart of oxford and has a covered parking garage for those spending the night. As the home of miami university, oxford has the infrastructure to handle a crowd of this size.

During the day we will have seminars by both Griot's Garage and Imagine Auto. Additionally, we have a "peoples choice' car show with awards to the top 35 vote-getters. Throughout the day we will also be awarding over $3000 worth of great door prizes. In the afternoon, many participate in the drive to Hueston Woods State Park -- creating in the process the longest moving line of porsches in ohio history. thanks to our many generous sponsors, (including Griot's Garage, Auto Aficionado Magazine and Beechmont Porsche of Cincinnati), the $20 per car entry fee includes a goodie bag stuffed with over $30 worth of items including an event T-shirt and poster.

to see firsthand what a great event, p2o truly is, please take a few minutes to visit our website at www.porsches2oxford and view our 2006 event video. we think you will be impressed with the unique qualities of this event.

If you have any additional questions about p2o, please don't hesitate to contact me. if i can assist in any way in helping to inform your membership of our event, i would be happy to do so.

I am signed up and this should be a great event with hilly, gorgeous countryside. I hope there is a big Cayman turnout. Thanks for passing the word K-Man S.

I had to drop off the last 'slash' to use the link. The '06 movie shows some really cool cars and nice laid back event. Sadly I have a conflict with the date (MGA meet in British Columbia); if not, this would be on my list.

Hope to see Cayman crew there!

I hear there are between 150 to 200 Porsches signed up for P2O July 28th. Any Cayman Clubbers from Ohio, Indiana, or Kentucky planning to go? I hear we take over the town and University (Miami U) for 2 days. Great driving roads in the hills surrounding town. Mike
