Milwaukee/Chicago clear bra installers

Can anyone recommend a clear bra installer in the area? I've done a search and e-mailed Alan from Invincaman, but have not come up with anybody.

Porsche Exchange in Highland Heights (not too far from WI border) now are doing it in-house. Their stuff is really good, Semersky brothers (one of the longest Porsche dealership owners in US) have very high standards for everything. They are sponsors over here.
www.4porsche.com is their site. My sales person was Farris. Really cool dude!

I too had the Porsche Exchange in Highland Park install a clear bra on my new CS and was very pleased with the installation.

Really depends on how much you want to cover. So the answer is, I don't know. I do know that this month they are running a promo, since they just brought the service in-house and probably want to drum up business.

Faris was my salesman too and I bought my car from the Porsche Exchange. We had some issues right around delivery time, but I think things have been smoothed over. I'll see what he has to say about pricing.

Push that guy a bit. He knows what their margins are, so he will work with you.
I still think Faris is one of the best sales people I have ever had a chance to work with. Even when others screw up, he takes responsibility and does whatever it takes to make it right.

At Porsche Exchange I paid $795.00 for a clear bra install....front bumper....1/3 way up on the front fenders/hood.......mirrors.....that was discounted down from $995.00. I called an installer from the local PCA magazine and never got a return call back so I decided to play it real safe and have the work done at the point of purchase of the car...just in case there were any issues.....there were none....the installation was fine.

Price sounds about right. And also, let me tell you, when I went to Napleton, there were several 997's sitting on the lot with clear bras on them. Edges were not even, I could see bubbles in some places. I even pointed that out to the salesman and he could care less.
Than when I was at Exchange, I was talking to a Farris about clear bras. EVERY car (even used ones off-lease) had bras that were simply perfect.
When I had a discussion with one of the brothers, who is an owner of the dealership, he said that he knows couple of bra people that do it for 200-300 bucks less, but after he saw their work, they decided against going cheaper route. Exchange simply puts in the time and care to make it look perfect.

Without getting into it too much they quoted me a couple hundred more than what UWgrad was quoting and they don't seem to want to come down at all. I know they do good work, but...

Heckler--

For what its worth my quoted price was discounted down by a couple hundred bucks.......I purchased an 05 Cayenne from the Exchange and my brother from Oregon purchased a used 02 911 4S......I have a good relationship with the dealership owner and they were kind enough to discount 3 after-market purchases items on my Cayman, including a clear bra, bluetooth phone and XM Satellite Radio.......am guessing that all factored into the equation.

Plastic Surgeons 630-669-7033. Located in Elmhurst.

Ask for Tim or Richard. They do all the clear bra installs for Fox Valley Motorcars (Lamborghini, Lotus, MB, bentley, etc...), McGrath Lexus, Porsche, etc... and have positive reviews on car forums.

Tim quoted me $850 for FULL coverage, ie: full hood, front fenders, full bumper, headlights, foglights, mirrors, a pillars, small strip on roof above windshield, side skirt behind front wheels, behind door handles, door sills, fuel filler lip, and rear spoiler. Just shy of wrapping the car whole. He uses XPEL or 3M and thicker film. I'm planning on getting it done sometime in June. Maybe we can get a group discount??
