Premier best of the best in clear bra
Well, I was tired of the poor quality clear front bra on my CS. Orange peel, poor fitup, gaps in coverage, surface defects and edges peeling up. Two weeks ago at a Carlsen's (dealer) car show, I saw Sharkey's GT3. The wrap was beautiful. No defects you couldn't even tell it was wrapped. So one year later and $800 wasted, Sammy, Chris and guys at Premier took off the junk and replaced it with a complete custom wrap of the front. OMG what a difference! It looks like they took liquid glass and poured it over the hood and fenders. They also did a 50% ceramic tint of the glass also perfect! Prior to the wrap this was the third clear bra I've had installed. The first one was on my 2005 Cayenne S which has gone flat looking but the fit-up was good and I've put 50K on it. Saved my a** several times. Second to my wife's 2005 MDX same quality different installer and then the CS a new "recommend" installer. Now I can't find the guy to backup his work but that's water under the bridge now.
These guys at Premier are the best!!! Life time warranty!! I don't know what goes on in other parts of the country? But if you are any where close to Northern CA you must use these guys.

God for you man, they really do such high quality work IMHO. Glad it worked out ok in the end! I'd love to check out the ceramic tint- I need to do that next

Heatman, I actually saw your car at Premiere as they were finishing it up last week. The job they did on your car looked so good, I made an appointment on the spot and it will be done next week.
Thanks for the "indirect" assistance in helping me make my decision.

My 3M clear bra is in marginal shape...I'm thinking over replacing it. The ceramic tint is something I'd love to have as well. How much did Premier charge you to do these things?

Rex they did our Cayman S as well but on the RS it was obviously more difficult and tricky with that crazy front bumper. I'd contact Sam over there and find out because I don't recall on the Cayman S. They're so worth it tho. I swear most people don't even see the film on my RS...

Hey Guys,
The ceramic tint is way worth it, it was a package deal with the wrap, talk to Sammy or Chris, they'll do you right. The last few days in P-town it has been in low 90s and the tint makes it comfortable in the sun. Before tint even with the air on it was warm in direct sun. Of course the wrap is fantastic, I am so pleased! When you flush $800 bucks down the toilet, the old clear bra, you only hope that the new one meets expectations. It is good to see young men that are craftsmen. I'll post some pictures but you need to see the attention to detail in person.
Alex, I would love to attend on Saturday but Grandson's third birthday. He always "trumps" any other event!

Thanks heatman. It was unfortunate that the previous installer for your Cayman put some damage on your paint, but at least, it is all right now. We polished what we could and is barely visible. Glad you enjoy the benefits of ceramic window film as well. For those wanting more information, there is plenty here - Premier Protective Films International (aka Premier Mobile) clear bra, paint protection film, tint, auto tint, safety film, chip paint, kits, custom, car

premier is within walking distance of automall parkway in fremont.
their site has exact address. sam, chris and wilson really know what they are doing. it would be foolish to not have them do the film install if you are any where near their shop.

I just spoke to one of the guys at Premier... They have a precut set for Caymans that runs about $700...another $300 if you want the full hood rather than just the lower portion. They will discount 10% if we can get 5 or more in a group buy. I'm pretty new to the club and don't know how to go about setting up a group buy, but if somepne else knows the deal, I'm in for the full Grand. Anyone want to take the lead here?
Bob

Elise....thanks...
Your color choice is similar to mine... Meteor Gray over Stone Gray...
Looks like we have two takers for the Premier Clear Bra...any other NorCal folks ready to join us? We need 3 more for the 10% discount...

I am scheduled for Premier to do a complete custom wrap tomorrow. Not sure if this will count towards the 5.

Does it show at all? How do you clean and wax it. Lastly, will it need to be replaced?

Anyone else for the Clear Bra group buy? We are hoping to call for our appointment this week. Fence-sitters, the time for action is now as 10% off likely means $100 more saved for your CarWash fund!
*smile*
Please let me know the status of this GB -
thnx!

Clear Coat Group Buy
OK, I'm up here in Redding, CA, I just called Sammy to see if he would be able to do my Cayman on Sept. 22nd (Sat), the only day this month I can do it. He agreed saying if enough people go in on the group buy are met, I think I would be number 4 or 5? Anyways Sammy said he would like to do all the cars in the group buy either Friday Sept. 21st or Sat. the 22nd. I hope that would work out with every one? My appt. is currently penciled in for Sat. morning

Group Buy is on?
my appointment with Premier is on Sat 15th in the AM - they seem to have more slots open for Sat the 22nd. all set for the SharkWerks meet *smile*
they did give me the Group Buy pricing ($1026 with full hood installation) - so we're on!
now that she'll be a bit more tough, i'll have to start looking in to the next autox...
