AZ Cayman Run 11/9

AZ Cayman Run 11/9 -

Here's the plan - We'll meet at the last gas station in Fountain Hills on the south side of Shea Blvd. east of AZ87 (Bush Hwy) at 7:30 am or so. We'll leave there at 8:00 am sharp. We'll drive by Saguaro Lake, grabbing breakfast at the lake. Then through Usury Pass and out to Apache Junction. Then we'll take US60 to Superior and then southeast to Kerney and Wilkleman. Then north to Globe and north toward Roosevelt Lake. We'll either stop at the Roosevelt Lake resort or at Jake's Corner or at the Rye Bar & Grill depending on timing. We'll also stop at the Tonto National Monument as we pass Roosevelt Lake. We'll probably spend a good bit of time there. Bring good shoes & refreshment. I'm sure there'll be other stops along the way for sightseeing etc. I'll have maps & directions. Please PM me if you think you're going.

I have found google maps too hard to use - you either get it right the first time or forget it - can't edit effectively. If you pm me your email addresses I'll send you map info from the HOG Ride Planner

Is the invitation open to lowly Boxsters as well? Just got an RS 60 two months ago. It's loud, so it's good; love the PSE

Re: AZ Cayman Run 11/9

You know, anyone is welcome in my opinion. It's about the drive, the scenery & the enjoyment of it all.. come on along...

ps... Robert, I emailed Matt from the last run and he coming too...

pps. bh2106.. I tried google again and it lost my route a second time.. I'm probably doing something wrong... it figures..

Re: AZ Casyman Run 11/9

Hey everyone, see you between 7:30-8:00 a.m. Sunday at the gas station. I'll have maps for everyone plus a few extra just in case. We'll launch at 8:00 a.m. so don't be late. However, if you are late just meet us at the restaurant at Saguaro Lake for breakfast. I'll be off-line till then cause I'll be at a Jaguar Concours with our V12 E-type (the horror of it - British!). If you want to check a bunch of E-types & XK's out (together with some boring sedans) jet over to Jaguar North Scottsdale tomorrow 9-4 and check out the Jag Club Concours. I'm judging so I may be occupied but stop by and say hello.
