So Cal Service

Hi,

Anyone been to any so cal dealers lately and get their Cayman S serviced? What's the best deal you guys have been seeing and are satisfied with the service of? I've seen the forum posts on this and I haven't seen anything definitive yet. What's the latest?

Where are you in SoCal? LA, OC, or SD? Let us know and we can certainly help.

Cheers,

Re: So Cal Service

I had my first service (1 year with 9300 miles) at McKenna in Norwalk today and was very happy with the experience. With a discount coupon the cost was $245. Huy took good care of me and the shop foreman spent a good bit of time to show me the features on the underside of the car and spent a good bit of time answering my questions.

McKenna is also a site sponsor, members of the Cayman Club get 10% off parts and service. Ask for the service manager. I'v also always have good experiences with the folks at McKenna, they treat you like a valued customer.

Re: So Cal Service

Thanks for the info guys. Good to have some recommendations nearby to go to. Funny thing is, I just drove down there this week and dealt with Huy as well. Unfortunately, I asked for a loaner car and they didn't have one available so I couldn't leave the car there at that time. I asked them to let me know when they will have one. Btw, where did you get the coupon from?

Re: So Cal Service

FWIW, we've been really happy with BH Porsche. They always remember my wife's name, drink preference, car & history, etc. They almost always have a _Porsche_ loaner for her, even for little things. They definitely "get" that Customer Service and post-sale is the most important aspect of a dealership. We're so impressed that they'll be the first place we go for the next Porsche.

Everything we've done with them so far has been warranty, but they quoted us costs for brake replacement (pads/rotors)at *well* below what Pacific Porsche (where we purchased from) quoted.

+1. Brought my Cayman into McKenna for the first time last week. They performed, under warranty, the "trunk clunk" fix while I waited. Very attentive and professional. Highly recommended.
