DE March 21st @ Thunderhill

I signed up for the DE on March 21st @ Thunderhill. The 1st one this year that really worked with my schedule. The group looks good and it is relatively inexpensive--$135 for a non member. Anyone else interested in going? I've got a friend from Santa Rosa who will be bringing up his '90 Carrera 4. Hope to see some other Caymans out there too!

I might be able to make that - I really like NCRC.

Daughter's B-day...and a Saturday...I can't make it.

I am doing Feb 13, though.

Re: DE March 21st @ Thunderhill

Yeah, I thought you couldn't make it because it was a Saturday Dave. As for you daughters birthday, you went last year on the 21st? How did that go over? Just kidding. I can't make the 13th--I've got too many car prep jobs to do before my first track day. Coilovers, alignment, brakes, get tires mounted, etc.....

Fort Felker--Hopefully I'll see you there!

I might be able to make it. If so, it would be my first DE :-)

It was a FRIDAY. Weekdays are my days.

With 4 kids from 2 to 10, the only way I can stay married is to be home as much as humanly possible on the weekends to give wifey a break.

Re: DE March 21st @ Thunderhill

I've had a conflict arise for the 21st, but I'll be there Sunday the 22nd. I hope to see lots of other Caymans! I'm still running street tires, but I have some other surprises in store that might bring my laps times down a bit.

Re: DE March 21st @ Thunderhill

I'm going to Thill this Friday (the 13th!). My first NCRC event. I might skip it if the weather is wet, which is very likely at this point. I need dry track time to keep working on understeer issues (tire pressures and front camber). A wet track won't help me much, and it's 5 hrs round trip from the bay...

I will be at Thill at the end of March for the three day event DE and TT plus PRC racing. This a GGR PCA event. Big doin's and lots of Porsches. I always feel better on track when its all Porsches. Not being snobby, but I just feel safer with my own crowd around me.

They did sqeak a bit when I bedded them in today. I knew it was going to be a little early, but looking ahead at my schedule, I'm running out of weekends to get stuff done! And I still have my PSS9's sitting there taunting me. I'm going to re-re-attempt them next weekend with my new strategy of just taking the whole d... rear assembly out of there.

Great! That makes 3 Caymans, unless you are bringing that EVO! I'm sure it is quite a bit faster at the track...

Yeah but I still dig the Cayman's handling though. See you there.
