Planet 9

So, as many of You who've frequented the Calabasas/Malibu/Mulholland and surrounding canyons-area on the weekends, may know that typically on Sundays and especially on the last Sunday of each month... People park their classics, hot rods, muscle cars and supercars in front of the Village Coffee Roasters place off of Valley Circle... Then at some point after enough walking around and gawking, most everyone hits the canyons... I see plenty of 911's and GT3's...groups of Lambos and Ferrari's...Heck giant trains of Mini Coopers and so on... but not more than one or so Caymans...typically Just mine! Can't we get a show of support out their fellas? I don't think I know anyone else that owns a Cayman. Anywho, I'll be holding up our sector out their this coming Sunday morning...blowing the doors off whatever's in my way in the little Cayman S that could...

Thats the one... Its typically a good mix of people with their trailer queens, and those that dont mind tearing up the streets...what these cars are meant for... Every once in a while theres a fella in a Veyron that does some high speed fly-bys. And with a bunch of different canyons leading You back towards PCH, its a pretty fun morning

How about I keep you folks company? I think it's about time I get to meet some of you guys. Sounds like fun. I'll be there at 9 AM.

I didn't see anyone, but I saw a few caymans and a couple boxsters as well. There was a really nice Grey CS hidden a mile away behind the taco bell. I'm assuming is CAT/J's. Photos are still in the process of uploading but a few of the Cayman shots are up.

Daremoshiranai, Yep that was Sally tucked way in the back like an unwanted red head step child. It was the only available parking at around 9:15. Made a few rounds and was hovering nearby a macadamia metallic, a midnight blue metallic and later a black Cayman...stalker like but nobody was around. Then there was a young kid in a white Cayman with vanity plates and black/white painted wheels cruising 'round...but He didnt even glance as I passed him in the parking lot as I left.
It was a crazy morning. Almost too many people. I stayed in the canyons after leaving the madness 'til about 2pm, but didnt see any other Caymans around.

Maybe next time eh? Might need some better planning. CAT/J

That parking lot gets small in a hurry. We'll have to do a little planning for next time (caymanclub shirts or something...). Good to meet Sally at least =)

Hey guys sorry I missed you all, went over around 9am (white cs, but not the aforementioed young kid). Place was mobbed!!! Ended up parking all the way behind Islands.

I did see the macadamia colored cayman and also I think CAT/J's (grey smoke HREs). Yeah next time think we have to be there around 8am.

...So today was a good day. Lots of Porsches...2 GT's...a GT3...couple Turbos...And 3 GT2's! Good showing, so Im sure next week, the last one of the month ought to be fun. If anyones interested I'll do a better job of getting there earlier, hopefully in a better spot..and I'll hang around my car. Assuming Im not a mile away from the main drag

I always forget that it's every Sunday. I'll definitely be there early next weekend for the big gathering. What time are we thinking?

JCay, I didnt get a chance to meet You but I met your car, and was lucky enough to steal a parking spot next to it. Love the green man, never seen that color before. And I'm liking some of the more visible BBI mods.

It was getting toasty in the Valley and had to hit the canyons...couldnt stand around any longer...

Good seeing you and JCay. Both cars look great and JCay's exhaust note is brutal. If I had slightly less self control I would have been down at the dealer today. It was too hot for that so I fled into the mountains and down PCH.
