When's the next meet?
Winter's over, days are getting warmer, clouds are getting sparser.
When is the next meeting? I'm bored out of my nuts and want to show off and be shown-off to!

Re: When's the next meet?

Had my Cayman S 2 days now, and this be my first post.
Up for a meet as soon as - the further away the better
Would be keen to hear of any good trackdays or skid-pans / driver days too.

Re: When's the next meet?
You are more than welcome to start suggesting some dates and locations to get a thread rolling. We have had two in the Southern area, normally on a Sunday to allow for a meetup, drive some roads, then stop for Lunch before returning home.
I have not decided on track days yet, but will probably do Castle Combe, maybe Anglese and possibly Oulton or Donington, depending on what Karel and Alan might go to. Still trying to decide if I go back to SPA again this year Bedford is also a good track for those who are new to track days. Castle combe is good as its run in sessions so max 13-14 cars at any one time.

James...........
The Full Circuit - is Rare to Use - These Days............
I Ran the Full Circuit - 'Formula Ford 1600' In 1972 ..............
The 'Indy Circuit' is Perfect for Caymans, as it is not a - High Power Circuit - So we can 'Mix It' with GT3 Cup Cars.............

I'll vote for some of that. I'm up for anytime/date as well. Preferably not weekend Feb 7-8, because I'll have my missus, and although she, her father, mother and brother rally and sell nissans, she may get a little bored being one woman amidst a dozen males.

Re: When's the next meet?
'Ello folks.
Afraid I'm not going to be free for a few weeks for a local meet for local folk.....
Out of the country for the first couple of weeks in Feb, and the next 2 weekends are pretty full already. Sorry.
I fancy Donnington in April. Sounds good to me, Karel. Anyone fancy Anglesey a bit later in the year too? When the sun is set to shine?

OK - Got Information today from the Donington Track Day Organiser - Caroline Blythe...........
1st & 15th March (Both Sundays) are the First Options. Further Dates to be advised in the next 2 weeks................
I am still Discussing Options, To be Honest, Personally, Weekends are not favourite....
I Can Get Away With 'Working Away' Weekdays much easier..............
I Will Go with the Flow - Please Advise your Preferences for Days in the Week....
I Also Prefer Midweek because Yahoo 'Drivers' in Corsas - Don't do Mid-Week...

Re: When's the next meet?
I prefer weekends myself, but if a mid-week suits everyone else, then I could do that.
Fridays always put me off, particularly if it is a hoik down to somewhere south (like Bedford) as the traffic is dire.
If it is a Sunday in March, the 15th is better for me.

Re: When's the next meet?
I'll attend but not race a track-day. The combination of (1) Porsche Insurance doesn't cover track-days (2) I've only had the car 2000 miles (3) all 2000 of those miles were in the rain/snow/ice means ther's still plenty of learning curve for me.
So what happened to the Bolton meet?
It's got to be a special order Viper Green CS Sport! They retracted the colour before orders were took for it, remember? Only the orange was supposed to be available.

Roger, I asked Bolton had they borrowed the white and green cars from Wimslow and they said No they ordered them......(ball cocks, Porrsche GB sent them I would wager) so it's odd that both Bolton and Wimslow would both have similar cars of the same colour !! ????
