It was my first drive in a Cayman, and yes I was impressed.

The day was part of the Cayman Experience and included three instructor laps in a Mazda, and then four laps with me at the wheel of the Cayman.

It was the base model, but plenty fast enough for me at the moment. Thruxton is a very fast circuit with some tricky corners. The braking and grip of the Cayman was great - it is a proper sports car.

Just as an added bonus my instructor in the Cayman was the lovely Anna Walewska.

Recommend the day to any newbie.
