Dyno Day!!

So, fellow Inglanders, who fancies a bit of a get-together for a few dyno runs?

If there are a hand full of people willing to do it, I'll look into arranging a venue.

But for now, let's assume it will be Manchester based.

Anyone interested?

Jack

I'd be interested in that - just finished adding a few mods including Softronics plenum, flash, air filter, de-snork and full milltek. Sadly I have no idea what the car could do before I made the changes.

I'm down south but would be happy enough to go anywhere.

Regards
Steven

Jack, I keep all variables locked down - So I have always used the same Dyno (Surrey Rolling Road), Operator, Temperatures, Fuel, Tyres/Wheels and Tyre Pressures, etc.

This is so I can track Improvements (Not Differences in Calibration between different Dynos) in %age Terms. So if the 'Yellow Peril' was originally sitting at 295 BHP as rated by Porsche - Add the 19.8% improvement so far = 353 BHP (Which I Round up to 355)

My Next Dyno, will be after I have Installed v4.1 Software, and I will this time change up the fuel, from Shell 99 to BP 102 Octane - drive for a bit, to allow the ECU to RE-Calibrate and then I will have the 'Final' Definative Maximum Power Output. I will also do runs in 3rd gear (as usual) and also in 4th Gear.

Thanks for the Offer - but it is a bit far a way to go, for a doubtful benefit. My Dyno is just 8 miles from where I live and between the BP 102 garage and my Home so quite convenient (Don't want to use too much gas @ £2.48 a Litre !)
