'Yellow Peril' - Unhappy...

Today - The 'Yellow Peril' - Was Washed, Detailed and Polished........

Contrary to Normal Practice...........

Coming Up to 3 Years Old = 4 Washes (And 1 Wax Polishing After Break-In Period).............

The 'Yellow Peril' Was Concerned - That It Was to Be Sold....

No - Just Visitors This Weekend ....

However................ Shock / Horror - Stone Chips......................
All Over.......
Wish I Had Left Everything Dirty........................
Then they (Stone Chips) Could Not be Seen...

Anyway Harly - No 1. Yellow Carnauba Wax ..... Appeared to Resolve Matters.

Re: 'Yellow Peril' - Unhappy...

Karel I'm disgusted - only 4 washes!!! Poor Yellow Peril....

Mine's still getting it's weekly wash but the enthusiasm is starting to wane. I tried Optimum No Rinse wash today and did it in 1/3 of the time and the finish was pretty good too!

Try Dr. ColorChip: Automotive Paint Chip Repair Systems - How It Works: Simple 2-step touch up paint kit repair for the road rash, it seems to get good reviews - I'm going to be ordering some for myself shortly.

Re: 'Yellow Peril' - Unhappy...

I must confess to washing the car yesterday It was a sad day indeed
Such a waste of time washing a black car. Go up this morning and it's already covered in pollen, only a few hours after it was cleaned. Bah Humbug.........
