As an FYI the Registry has now been fixed since the move. What happened was the drop down box variables were not saving in certain situations, which means the year, model, exterior color and interior color. If you tried to edit your entry in the last week, please check it to make sure the information is stored in your record correctly.
There seems to be some confusion between the Registry which is our database of owners and their Caymans here, and the Cayman Register which is a unique sub-group of PCA. I'm thinking a name change for our database is in order, any suggestions?
I went to the University of Texas at Austin, which has a sometimes-unhealthy (for them) rivalry with Texas A&M. Loved the window decal that read "Texas - The University". So, in that vein...

Cayman DB ?
Cayman List?
????

Hey Ken,
if you are renaming the 'List' and it is not the PCA register, how about including the Boxster owners?

The Cayman "List" or "DB" or whatever will be for Caymans only, however, that doesn't mean that there won't be a "List" or "DB" for Boxsters that is also non-PCA.

Does that mean we too can get our own 'Boxster Award' just like you 'Boxster Coupe' drivers do ???? Gimme, Gimme, Gimme

Making a hybrid of Cayman Index = CayDex (also somewhat like the old Cardex)
But I don't think if you had a link that simply said "CayDex" that most people would understand what that link was for, which means they'd either ignore it or click on it to discover...
It also lends itself to other models such as "BoxDex" for Boxsters, but Cayenne would also be "CayDex" and Carrera would be "CarDex" Panamera - PanDex, so yeah it might work, just have to figure out something for Cayennes... PeprDex ?
Patience grasshopper, the separation of the PCA content was only the first step to allow that to happen, another step yet remains and then you will have your wish.
Please remit large checks to me.
Are there two different sites now ? cayman club says I'm registered, cayman register site says "not registered" , confused ?
Yes but it was covered in a different topic thread, anyone who was a member here as of yesterday has an identical account over on the caymanregister.org site, you merely need to put in your same username and password and click login to log into the site. Please review the other topic posted today about the separation of the two sites.
