A quick note about forum rearrangement

In order to provide a better browsing experience to both our Cayman and Boxster owners, we've taken what was 2 mirrored sets of forums for the Boxster and Cayman and instead created 3 forum sets.

First there is a Cayman Discussion forum, this forum and its sub forums are Cayman specific, all Cayman content all the time. Items of interest to Cayman owners only should be posted in this forum.

Second there is a Boxster Discussion forum and likewise this forum and all of its sub forums are for Boxster specific content.

Third there is a new 987 Discussion forum that has sub forums that relate to items in common between the Cayman and Boxster. Each of the forums also has a new Prefix set that allows to you specify if your topic is related to one model or sub-model more than another. For example in the Cayman and Boxster Tire and Wheel forum you might post a question asking about the regular Boxster standard wheel. You could flag that with a prefix of "Boxster" so that readers would know that it applied to the Boxster more so than the Cayman. If the topic applies to both, or isn't a topic that really can be divided up between one or the other then just don't use a prefix. It is simply there to help add some additional definition to your topic should you require it. Since prefixes can be searched upon, this would also give future readers a way of trying to find certain items.

This new structure allows viewers at both the planet-9.com and BoxsterBoard.Com sites to see the forums specific to their respective models but also the items that generally relate to both models without having to visit both sites.

I hope this makes sense to everyone!

Makes a lot of sense . . . you have resolved my major concern with dividing up the Boxster and Cayman owners. Thanks.
