Planet Porsche Icon Missing

It appears that the PP logo/icon has gone missing in the browser bar. It has been replaced from what I can tell by the vBulletin default one.

I chime in on this one. I use Firefox and the icon I see is vBulletin.

Re: Planet Porsche Icon Missing

Perhaps I'm looking at the wrong thing. When I look at my browser address window, there is an icon to the left of the window. When I hover the cursor over this icon I get a message: "This website does not supply identity information."

Re: Planet Porsche Icon Missing

I am getting an Icon that looks like a twinky with a blue Saturn's ring around it. I guess it is a planet. But I really liked the black planet one better.

Mac running firefox 3.0.6

Re: Planet Porsche Icon Missing

I'm getting the yellow and blue one too, but it draws weird (not wide enough) on Safari 4. The old one, the "9" planet one, was better :-)

Re: Planet Porsche Icon Missing

Just goes to show you that browsers are different in this regard and I don't think any browser gets it right 100% of the time. I probably do need to make it perfectly square but will have to get to it later...

Re: Planet Porsche Icon Missing

Jcay that is 16x16, I need to do a 32x32, I just need to trim the whitespace more, but if you want to make a 32x32 before I can get to it, feel free. I'll grab it and toss it on the server.

Re: Planet Porsche Icon Missing

I didn't think .ico file could be animated. The new 32x32 icon should be in place now though...

Re: Planet Porsche Icon Missing

The new icon looks great albeit a little thin at the moment.

They can definitely be animated. They are essentially a GIF (animated) or a PNG (clean transparency).
