Ok the awards system is no more, it was a lot of work from a management perspective which was fine when we had 100 members, not so good at 13,000+

I did, however, preserve the most requested awards and I also created 2 new public usergroups:

1) PCGB Members
2) POC Members

You can visit the user control panel and add yourself to either of those groups and you will receive the accompanying graphic during the next automated processing cycle. (the old system was manual, the new one is automatic) See: http://www.planetporsche.net/profile...editusergroups

I have just run the process which updates the graphics so everyone who is in one of the usergroups that has a graphic associated with it will have that show up next to their name.

Now here is a little something EXTRA for you... if you are a member of a regional group, for example the Noreasters, etc. if someone will provide me with a 32x32 clear background .GIF graphic to represent that group I can add it to that group's profile and ALL members of that group will have it show up next to their name and in their profile. Maybe the tropical island folks will give me a pineapple graphic, I don't know, but this is a chance for you the member to design something you want to have represent you on the site.

I volunteer to do a graphic for the Southern Group. I'm open to any suggestions, PM me, or post. I already tried a map of our region, but when shrunk down to 32x32 it is all but unrecognizable

Sounds like that is worth a try. Also, I am going to try a Planet Porsche logo, with "SÜD" beneath it. I will try to get a few samples together.

I think for mid-Atlantic, maybe we show a crab or something....perhaps a picture of a crab dinner if I can find one?????

OK, first try, don't be too harsh. Compass rose, with Porsche style "S". Should end up with transparent background.

Second try: Planet Porsche logo with Porsche style "S", not transparent.

Still, a 32x32 format is pretty challenging.

Looking good, on the Planet Porsche one you should probably reverse it that way you could have a clear background and have the planet and the S in blue instead. Have you shown these off in your regional forum to ask for input from other region members?
