Folks, when you enter something into the garage that requires approval, like a shop, or an item, etc. please follow the rules.

Rule #1 - If it is a business, I expect to see (as do other members) the contact info for the business, preferably address, phone and website. Any entries without contact info will be summarily deleted.

Rule #2 - If entering a part/modification please make sure you have the item in the correct category. I had 3 entries for wheels, valve stems and some interior part all listed under "engine". In this case I corrected all three because I hadn't pronounced this rule yet, but now that I have, any future incorrect entries will be deleted so please make sure you have the category correct!

Rule #3 - Don't enter something in multiple times. If you don't see something and you go to add it, it isn't going to show up until I have approved it, any duplicate entries will also be deleted.

As an FYI there were 7 submissions waiting for businesses in the garage tonight when I went and looked at approvals - 6 of them I deleted. Why? Because there was no contact information whatsoever. Rule #1 people, Rule #1....

Edit: ok, it wasn't me, the business has been approved. However, I would like to make a suggestion. When you get the business information window the only space that says "REQUIRED" is the business name. It will be a good idea if you can put the word "REQUIRED" at least next to the entries you want people to fill. Perhaps you could add a function that won't let you add a business if the "REQUIRED" entries are not completed.

Good suggestion, I'll have to see if I can rework the template without the help of the developer.
