I'm working out my Cayman configuration. In the process I built a table of all the seat choices. Thought it might help others as well

Don't forget the extra grand or so if you want the backs of the 18 way seats covered rather than in silver plastic. The 14 ways already come covered.

There are pictures of various colored cars with the different seatbacks in other threads. Those silver seatbacks look fine on silver cars. I didn't like them at all when I configured my yellow and black car with them, so I ordered the leather seatbacks, which, BTW, are actually $1630.

Yeah... this is the sole reason I'll probably get the 14 way seats. I mean... I love the idea of everything being top of the line, but I don't think I can justify this one and won't go with the silver backs.

I can't imagine I'll be sitting there one day, shuffling around, and thinking "dammit... I'm sure I could get comfortable if only there were 4 more ways to adjust these..."

Of course... this is now. Who knows what my mind will do when the time comes to actually check off boxes.

The number of adjustments isn't the only difference. The bolsters are different, and I think the thigh extension is different too. So sit before you order.

What I would like to know is if its possible to retrofit a car with manual seats to have the 14 way. In theory I would think so since even the manual ones get electrical power for the angle adjustment... but is that enough?

And then of course is the question of its its possible to retrofit memory...

And don't forget the door panel with the memory buttons.

I would expect expensive in parts and labour.
