As I know the standard car has 265/35 rear wheels with a tire width of approx 8.5inches. The reason I ask is that my C-class has 265 rear with tire width measured at 11 inches.
I don't know what you mean by "thickness" but 265/25.4 = 10.433" which is the width and 10.433 x .35 = 3.65" which is the sidewall height. If your C class and your Porsche both have 265 tires, they are both 10.433" wide (within an 1/8").

***Haven't ordered yet, but what are your thoughts on the FVD Genius Flash Tool? I have the old B30 ROM on my base Boxster, and Cobb won't support it unless I upgrade to the C30 ROM at the dealership (which has been a back and forth headache that I don't want to battle anymore). Thank you for your advice!

did you do an OTS Cobb tune or protune? If protune was it done on a dyno or Cobb Access Port data log? Did you have your engine performance mods installed at same time or in stages? Any performance feedback you can provide would be great. I just installed the IPD plenum & 82mm throttle body on my 16" CGTS (manual trans. & Porsche sport exhaust). Definitely feel a stronger pull above 4000 rpm. I spoke with Fabspeedicon regarding a tune and they recommended a Cobb protune via. access port data log. They claim I should see another 15-20 rwhp. Thanks!!

Re: Survey: What have you done to your 981 in the last year?

Question 1: What modifications have you made to your 981 in the last 12 months?
    - Camber plates
    - X73 F/R sway bars

Question 2: What specific brands/parts have you purchased to make these modifications? (Example: XYZ Company Wheels or ABC Company ECU Tuning)
    - Rennline 991/981 Clubsport Camber Plates
    - Porsche X73 sway bars

Question 3: How much did you spend making these modifications? (Estimates are fine, for example "About $2000", etc.)
    - Camber plates, istallation and alignment $950
    - X73 sway bars, bushings, installation, alignment $900

Question 4: Can you briefly explain why you bought each item you listed? (Example: "Was on Sale", "I considered it the best in the market", etc.)
Camber plates were very well made from aircraft grade aluminum, fitment was perfect, max camber is now -2.75.
Front and rear X73 sway bar keep the "Porsche handling balance", they really reduced leaning, diving, and squatting. IMHO, on a PASM equipped car it helps the car handle as good as X73 equipped car, if not better.
    Q
    2013 Boxster S - 6 M/T and 2010 Cayman - 6M/T

I just used the OTS Stage 1 tune. I think Stage 2 is if you upgrade to headers, which I have not. I did not pay the extra for the dyno test, but the car fells have a little more torque. I was not expecting too much gain - maybe 325 to 350hp. I emailed Cobb and they recommended a pro-tune via the access port for best results. Maybe in the future I will. I spent a lot last year between the various mods I did. Now I am spending my funds on track days to get to know the car better. I did the mods all at once, since I had Bbi Autosports do them. I know it is better to do one mod at a time and spend time getting to know the changes, but that would have taken a lot of time and cost more money.

Zunsport, PSE, Rear Diffuser and Side air scoops

    ~$5K including install

Re: Survey: What have you done to your 981 in the last year?

This has been a very enjoyable thread to read. I just picked up a 2015 981 Cayman S today. It is nicely optioned and the PO also added clear film and window tinting as well as the clear side markers. It is practically new with 6,800mi. Strangely, it has Sport Chrono but not PSE, so I'll get to an exhaust first. Then things like the Zunsport grills, GT4 style side intake blades. Also, a Cobb Accessport and a pro tune will be coming. I've had a 2017 Macan GTS since March and I have to say, the turbos definitely offer a much different experience.

Re: Survey: What have you done to your 981 in the last year?

I've owned my CGTS for a little over three years, and made a lot of minor mods in the first year. However in the last year:

Question 1: What modifications have you made to your 981 in the last 12 months?

    1) Black anodized dash trim
    2) Aluminum pedals

Question 2: What specific brands/parts have you purchased to make these modifications? (Example: XYZ Company Wheels or ABC Company ECU Tuning)

    1) Porsche (Suncoasticon)
    2) Porsche (Suncoast)

Question 3: How much did you spend making these modifications? (Estimates are fine, for example "About $2000", etc.)

    1) $1065
    2) $440

Question 4: Can you briefly explain why you bought each item you listed? (Example: "Was on Sale", "I considered it the best in the market", etc.)

I didn't order these options with the car because I was maxed' out with the cost of other "more practical" options. Finally got around to doing it after not finding an acceptable more cost effective alternative.

Survey: What have you done to your 981 in the last year?

    1. Mods in 2017:
I have done very little this year (but lots of small mods in 2014-2016). This year,
-- I replaced the rotors with Girodisc direct replacement slotted rotors.
-- Upgraded the sway bars/drop links to TPCicon Racing adjustable sway bars/drop links.

    2. Brands/parts:
-- Girodisc rotors from Competition Motorsport.
-- Adjustable sway bars and drop links from TPC Racing

    3. Prices:
-- Rotors: $1,936 (normally $1,100 per axle, but all brake products were on-sale for 12% off).
    -- Sway Bars/Drop Links: $1,790

    4. Why?
-- Rotors: I track my 981 Cayman S 7-8 times per year, so I go through a lot of rotors. Slotted rotors are best for track applications because, among other things, you get a lot less cracking than cross-drilled rotors (like the OEM ones that came with the car), so they last longer. I have been looking for someone that sells slotted direct-replacement rotors for the 981 for years, but I only found "big brake kits" that required replacing the calipers too. Having used the OEM calipers on the track a lot, I know they are sufficiently awesome, so I do not want to replace them. But the OEM rotors crack all to hell when using them on the track due to the constant heat-cycling. Well, I finally found out that Girodisc makes direct-replacement rotors for the 981.
-- Sway Bars: Again, I track my 981, so the TPC Adjustable sway bars and drop links give me a motorsport solution to improve handling and my confidence on the track.

Re: Survey: What have you done to your 981 in the last year?

[] What modifications have you made to your 981 in the last 12 months?
    -Fabspeed Protune/ Cobb AP
    -X73 Sport Suspension
    -FVD Brombacher Sport Exhaust
    -Mirror Diffusers
-XPel full front/rockers / Ceramic Pro
    -Radar detectoricon ghost install

[] Can you briefly explain why you bought each item you listed? (Example: "Was on Sale", "I considered it the best in the market", etc.)
-Tune & Exhaust - improve torque and power delivery across the range. 100% happy with it. No sluggish revs to redline past 3700 rpm.
-X73 Sport Suspension - improved handling in the twisties + stance. needed something complaint and proven. 100% happy with it.
-XPel full front/rockers / Ceramic Pro - attempt to keep the car protected from hard driving in the canyons and CA highways. 80% happy it, but definitely something I'd do again with a new car purchase.
-Radar - attempt to defray ticket costs, and reduce general idiocy.

Added some deadening material to the back 1/3 of car to reduce drone (PDK/PSE). Somewhat successful but for highway drives I found Bose ear buds to be the best solution.

Bought a used set of stock mufflers but have yet to bother to put them on.

5mm spacers from Suncoasticon. Wanted to use all Porsche parts

    718 strut brace -ditto

    x73 sway bars- ditto

I am really happy with the handling improvement especially for the street and the one time I did a DE. PS4 tires also helped.

Softronicicon Software - bought on sale - feel it is the best hp increase per dollar available for these cars - brings the car slightly beyond base 911 power with a very linear powerband. My feelings all the different softwares change all the same parameters Softronic has been doing this a long time. Their performance claims also made the most sense to me. 360hp is all you can get of these engines regardless of where you start with advertised HP from Porsche.ie 315, 325, or 340. One popular brand claimed approx 7% regardless of starting point of course pay more for a custom tune and you can get close to Softronics claim.

    future plans
Center Radiator and maybe a DSC controller.

other than that I just plan to drive it more and enjoy it.
