I have a new-to-me 2010 CS with about 15,000 miles on the clock. I have noticed two clutch related things that concern me, and would like thoughts from others. First, the takeup seems high. On my old base Cayman the friction point was about halfway up the pedal travel; on this one it's more like 2/3 of the way up. Second, when I'm accelerating hard, with sport mode on, it seems to slip in second gear. If I lighten up on the throttle briefly as I engage second gear, it doesn't happen. Or, if I let up on the accelerator as it's happening it will engage, then I can go back to full throttle. The clutch doesn't slip any other time. With so few miles on the clock, it seems unlikely that the clutch is shot, but I can't think of any other explanation. Sure doesn't seem normal. Thoughts?
