Re: Help - 2005 Boxster S vs 2006 Cayman S
That's what a computer search will do for you if you know what you are looking for. The only additional info that would be beneficial is the previous owners affinity to his/her car's maintance, especially garage queens. They still need attention and to be driven. Think about the down time for the 7500 mile 06 blue Cayman, 12 years old, that's just over 600 miles per year. If you buy that one, get rid of those OEM tires immediately! Most likely cracks in the side walls and face as well as flat spots where the car was sitting unless it was on blocks, look at Michelin S4's. Change the brake fluid, maybe engine coolant, S belt and engine oil, filter. Cut open the paper filter to see if you have any solid material. Have a PPI done like I did to assure the bores are fine. Then start to slowly increase your power like you would a new car. You will actually be breaking in that 12 yr. old car to your way of driving.
