Installing an aftermarket dbl Din Nav Head Unit and Amp in my 2005 Boxster (Bose sys)

I know there is alot of ppl just like me, have or are attempting to do a self install on thier Porsche. I know because like most i combed the web for weeks gathering info on many aspects of the audio replacement.
I found alot of different and sometimes conflicting info. Honestly the hardest and most time consuming part of the entire project was getting all the info you need to even know what you can and cant do, just so you
can order what you need to cut down on the trial and error you are certain to do be faced with. I am going to post a site that i found, that has all the information you will need in one place. Seriously I didnt have to leave
the site to track down anything i had questions about from start to finish. I Installed a dbl din H.U. and 5-channel amp, leaving the factory bose speakers and wiring intact (minus the wiring harnesses i removed to hard wire
    my equipment.

Yes i know alot of ppl already use this site and know about it. This post is not for them. I do this because my search engines did not put this site anywhere near the top of any searches i tried. And when
you want the info asap without reading what amounts to the equivalent of "war and peace" in material. i hope it saves someone out there a little time and frustration.

That page was a big help. I even ordered the Sat antenna holder from them.
