    Discount off a “new” 2017 911 base

    Hello.

This is my first post, but I have been lurking for a while now. I am in the process of considering the 911 as an option when my lease is up. I was considering holding out until the 992s were announced or just seeing what kind of deal I could snag later this year.

I’m starting to get a little antsy and have considered making a move sooner rather than later. 🙂

I noticed a few 2017 base options on car gurus and wanted to ask a few questions of the group.

    1. What kind of discount should I aim for with these being 2017s?

    2. Is there anything I should be look out for?

I would love to hear from anyone who decided to do something similar.

    Thanks in advance!

You didn't give us anywhere near enough info to comment with anything serious. When comparing prices on new 2017s today, the first factor to consider is where you are looking. If you limit your search to an area like Silicon Valley, any discount will be very small. If you are willing to shop Nationwide, like i did, you might get a far greater discount on an even higher price 991.2, not just a base model More important to me than what discount on a base is what is the price, even if it's an S or better. A low mileage CPO used 991.2 S would be worth morthe that a new 2017 991.2 Base, IMO. And, with factory option or dealer installed X51 PowerKit, Porsche buyers now have the option of getting GTS performance in a 991.2 S.
FYI, i bought a loaded new 2017 S this year at a huge discount, and then was able to negotiate an X51 PowerKit installation into my purchase deal at an even bigger discount. So now i have what is essentially a loaded GTS at a much lower price.
Please explain what you want in a991. 2, and how far you are willing to look for one.
