I was wondering in one of your post you mention that a 19x10 wheel is offered from factory for a 987.1 . Do you know what model name that is wheel. Any help much appreciated. cv
i am looking at a set of Techart formulas for my 2006 Cayman S. Are those 19's on you Cayman? The wheels that i am looking are are 11 inch on the rear. Did you have any issues with fitment? will the original 19 inch tires fit?
Any info wold be great..
The techart springs lower the car equally front and back, but the Cayman does not sit equally on its springs (front a little lower than rear) and the lowering makes this more pronounced. The ride w/ the standard shocks was poor due to harshness over every bump. I would not do only the springs again but either springs and sport shocks or a system like PSS9. I didn't consider any wheel other than the Techart Formula for my Cayman.
Hello Dave! I just came across ur posts when researching the ruger r-10 wheel and I was wondering if I could ask u a couple of questions?
1) Why did u decide NOT to go with this wheel?
2) I hate the near 4x4 look of the cayman and want to lower the stance. I see that u lowered ur car with techart springs, but did u lower the car 25mm all the way around or more in the back because they seem to sit higher in the rear?
3) How do u rate the ride quality? I'm not really concerned with improved cornering/performance at this time but care more about near-stock ride quality.
Thanks in advance for your help!
