    Jim,
I'm considering purchasing a set of 19" BBS CH-R Porsche wheels and Michelin PSS tires for street duty on my 2016 GT4 with standard brakes. Tire rack.com is showing several 19" wheel and tire fitments. From all online accounts, the rear toe link presents a fitment issue for 19" wheels. Have these wheels been test-fitted to a GT4, and verified to clear the rear toe links?
    Thanks,
    Dave

    Hi Jim
Does Tire Rack have any data to back up the quote from your website in this thread?

    Jim,

I am lusting after the Cup 4 wheels. I already have one set that a pal sold me, will be ordering another set as soon as tomorrow. You mention they are TUV approved, that is a plus and I see JIC stamped on the wheels. If you want me to order them from you fine. I plan on using Pay Pal.

You have sensors for 08 Cayman Base? Cost?

    Jim,

I need another wheel set for my Cayman S. Probably 18", although a better-riding 19" set for street could be good. I've run 18" PS2s and RE-11s - ride is OK, but I don't want it any worse for my "touring" tires. Allegedly, there are some OEM(?) Contis in 19" that ride better than what I have. What about HTR ZIIIs in 19? 'kook V12 EVOs (although I hated the RH-06s on my Lightning)?

What are your OEM take-off wheel options? Tire suggestions for street? Track (RE-11 alternative - 245 Front?)

    Thanks,
    Bruce

Hi Jim, I'm getting ready to pick up a set of BF Goodrich R1's on dedicated track wheels for DE days with the Porsche club. Up until now I've got 3 event weekends under my belt over the last year on REO50 A's. What cautions with my driving habits do I need to take with the change? Are the R1's going to work well with my CS putting out about 340hp, lowered with PASM and all camber adjustments maxed? Thanks Chris

I track a Cayman S and was less then satisfied with the Toyo R888 I ran this year and was thinking about Michelin Pilot Sport Cups (I have a set of 18" track wheels and drive to the track). I just read about the new Pirelli P Zero Trofeo. Will you be selling these? Any pricing available? I looks like I can get the right size for the rear unlike the MPSC.

    Jim:
Please explain what tire width options exist for the stock 19 in rims on the 06CS. I am confused on how much wider I can go in front and back if I choose w/o replacing the rims.
Secondly: if I go with new 18 in rims, I see so many options out there in width between and within brands, I'm still confused on what to consider buying. Am I best matching the rim to the prospective tire? Again, what determines how wide I can depart from the 235 and 265 size? I don't want to go hog wild just for the sake of it, but would like to have more variation in tire sizes open to me. How do I marry up the offset and the wheel width? {I have the 5 mm spacers on now}.

hey Jim, I am considering Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus tires for my 07 Cayman S. I am thinking 235/35/19 for the front and 275/35/19 for the rear. Would these fit my stock 19 x 8.0 front and 19 x 9.5 rear rims? I live by the Jersey Shore where snowfall is not heavy so I was looking to swap my summer tires for these all season Michelins to drive my CS year round.
