Life is good when you get the opportunity to shoot a fully caged Porsche race car at Palmer Motorsports Park.

For those that have not had the pleasure of visiting Whiskey Hill Raceway at Palmer Motorsports Park, it is a 2.3-mile technical race course with over 190 feet of elevation change built into the picturesque hills of Palmer Massachusetts. Combine that terrain with a drivers car like our customer Erik's well prepared 2006 Cayman S, and you've got the recipe for a pretty epic driving experience. Oh, did we mention this track monster is equipped with 3.8 liter?

Erik's Cayman, built by Kachel Motor Company, is furnished with a host of go-fast parts including a set of our 18" SM-10 wheels. The SM-10 is a lightweight wheel developed specifically for Porsche club racers and performance driving enthusiasts featuring I-beam spokes to reduce weight while maintaining strength, and knurled beading along the barrel to reduce unwanted tire slippage. The barrel of this 18" wheel design was also carefully engineered to clear common big brake kits including the massive Porsche 380mm carbon cermics found 996 & 997 911's.

We hope you enjoy the build and killer photoshoot as much as we do.
