Wow, it’s been over two years since my first P9 column. Amazing how time flies. But it’s time to move on. You may wonder why I am calling it quits, throwing in the towel, throttling back or whatever euphuism you care to insert. For one thing, I am no longer a Cayman owner, or even a Boxster owner, which come to think of it comes is a close second.
Good news is that I am still in the Porsche family. No doubt there are some 911 types out there shaking their heads saying…yeah right. But I have scaled back to a 944 Turbo and we still have the Cayenne. But without a Cayman to write about and all the adventures that have come my way over the course of almost three years of wonderful ownership, it’s just not the same thing.
So where am I going? OK since you ask… There is my first novel, which you can download from Amazon (link below) and I am getting my blog revved back up (link below two) and I am writing for 9 Magazine (link number three). I hope to be contributing to some of the Porsche blog / websites so keep your eyes open, you may come across a byline or two. AND the second book in my series The Driver, a Marc Lange Novel should be out in plenty of time for Christmas.
So thank you! I hoped you have enjoyed my adventures (or misadventures). Maybe in some small way, the content I have provided to this site made you chuckle or gave you a moment’s pause. No matter, I am happy with the results. Thanks to Ken and this great web site. He works really hard to keep it relevant for you all.
Best case!? I will be back in the 981 Cayman once my boys are finished with college. Which right about now appears to be way in the distant future. Like when the 981 is in the $15K range. Yeah that long…
As promised, here are the links:
On that exhaust note, see you all around the web.
