    Re: Tarrett Caliper Studs

It may be that I didn't know the stud length and just guessed and got lucky.

Looking at the pictures in an associated article to that post, it looks like his fit almost flush.

    Re: Tarrett Caliper Studs

I used the 95mm kit. Part# BCSK-95 for my 981 Boxster S, and it fit perfectly. Maybe others having a problem ordered the 85mm kit? 10mm would account for the difference.
  4. Re: PSM Failure followed by PSM Loss on track day

You can take your car to a local auto parts shop and a generic scan tool should be able to point out the problem. There are standard OBDII codes for most of the ECU-related problems. If you get a...

I bought mine at Suncoast. I DIYed the install using instructions on the Schnell site (which was accurate, except they show the radiator installed backwards in their pictures). Fairly easy install...

    Re: Voyager6's Boxster Mod Thread

  9. Re: Changing brake pads on front 981 -- DIY process

Not sure who your source was, but I swap pads out about 12 times a year for track duty, and have replaced rotors several times. There are no problems using a standard el-cheapo pad spreader to push...

    Re: Tarrett Caliper Studs

Interesting. My studs and washers fit perfectly, with the threads protruding from the studs by about 1/8" or maybe a little more when fully tightened. I bought the 95mm stud kit.
  13. Re: Brake bias / ABS / PTV issues after upgrades and running slicks.

I'm not sure it's as much PTV as PSM kicking in to keep the back-end in check. There are multiple levels of intervention by PSM. Only at it's most severe will the light blink on the dash. However,...

Re: Consensus on rear center jack point?

+1 on liftbars. I've had them for a couple years. Extremely well-made and stable

    The current iteration will fit all P-cars 986-718, 996-992, 928 and 918.

Sticky: Re: What did you do to your 981 today?

Strange. I've used windshield mounts, but never had this effect where it looks like the camera is panning. Maybe it's the video mode you are using. I use a Hero 4 Session and/or cell phone camera.

Re: Sport button vs. Sport Plus button?
