    I was thinking of something like that and was pretty tempted to try to do that. I'll have to remember it next time it happens on a weekend. Total cluster. As for psi, yeah, I actually thought it was low too but I guess it's what the manual recommends.

    I think it's going to depend on the miles. I had some mild concerns about mine with ~80 miles, but I've let them subside for various reasons (including observing how it was treated). Likely not actually that much to worry about, although your specific case sounds different (more disconcerting)...
