aeronca65tl's 1973 MG MIDGET

This car is sort of a joke. I built it using a spare tub that was a parts-car (for my race car). The tub was solid and I hated to cut it up. So I put in an old 948 sedan engine (35 HP) plus my noisiest trans, old brakes, etc. It had fenders that were 3 different colors. I painted it with a brush. It has actually won awards at car shows because it is so funky. My total cost for this thing is about $50. And it runs great (but it's slow). It was once on the cover of "MG Owners Magazine" and they did a story about it.
