Was wondering if anyone would be able to get eyes on a car for me at Porsche Asheville, I expect to close on it soon but just be much more comfortable buying sight unseen if can get a member to verify the condition. Please PM me if so, TIA!
Got the call from Porsche, they want to swap out the transmission in my GT4 (nothing wrong, just a preventative recall so that I don't get the 3rd gear issue - which I haven't ever had).
Anything to look out for from anyone who has had this done? Can I keep my original transmission? I mean...
In case anyone is looking for a used MT 718 Cayman S in Sapphire Blue 11k miles...

I'm looking to break up the sea of black on my Cayman and I'm thinking 2 fairly wide stripes down the middle will work. Anyone have a preferred or recommended company that can supply some quality vinyl stripes? Thanks
Just doing a casual search on Amazon and found this. Is it too good to be true or does anyone know about these?
I noticed you have to check the PASM box to enable PTV selection, making PTV a 3k+ upgrade.
Im guessing PTV is necessary given the torque curve of the 718 S.
Can anyone share their experience with a non PASM/PTV 718 s? Do you regret not getting PASM/PTV?
I searched for "exhaust" in this section and didn't see anyone really discussing, unless I missed it. Anyone taken the plunge yet? I guess some people have as I've seen videos, but can't tell how many of those are just sales pitches.
Would be curious people's actual, unaffiliated impressions...
New to Planet 9. Have not been able to find anything out about pricing on the 718 GTS. I can see that dealers in So Cal finally have cars sitting on their lots. Anyone biting? What kind of discount are you getting?
Feel free to PM me too!
I recently received a vendor email featuring a product called Scrape Armor. It looks like some heavy duty plastic moldings that bolt up on the underside of the front bumper, protecting it from speed bumps or driveway scrapes. Has anyone tried this product on their Boxster/Cayman yet? If so...
