For those who are interested, I recently modified my cupholder so it rotates less out of the unit and so doesn't sit over the center console and create a spill risk.

Driving in traffic yesterday following my normal route home. Eying the upcoming split where traffic starts to open up. MAX 360 radar detector is at a flatline (no activity). PDK jumps into action to pass that big log truck in the fast lane.
I look over and there's a motorcycle cop next to...
I purchased a 2008 Boxster S last summer. Currently at 85000 miles. Recently I purchased a Durametric scanner and the over rev report is as follows:

range 3 - 2/577.5H (7700-7900)
range 4 - 1/218.6H...
The PCM in my 2010 Cayman S with Bose and Navigation died. It is rebooting over and over and the text is in German. The dealer is quoting $3300 to replace.
I'm thinking about going for an aftermarket solution.
We decided to visit our friends in St. George, southern Utah, over the weekend. A total of over 600 miles, left Friday, back today.
According to the on board computer 30.6 mpg and over 80 in average speed. I’d say not bad!
not sure if the Softronic tune made a difference in mileage but...
Has anyone put clear film or tinted film over their bi-xenon PDLS? I was told not to do this on my Macan GTS with LED PDLS. I was told it would damage the LED lights. I think it is OK over bi-xenon, correct?

Going over my configuration one last time, I noticed in the "Standard Equipment" listing that the GTS comes with the following:
Bi-Xenon™ headlights in black with integrated LED daytime running lights
No mention of PDLS, but it's listed as a $1500 option.
So am I right in assuming that PDLS...
In a moment of madness, way back in August, I decided to order a lightweight battery for my GTS. It finally arrived now that the season is over, so all I can do now is look at it. Anyway, I may have gone a little over the top in terms of cost/benefit but this battery should last me a long time...
I am in the process of purchasing a Spyder and the dealer provided the following over rev report. Please advise if this looks good. I did some searching and from what I see it appears good unless i'm missing something.
Thanks in advance.
A couple of years back I sold my 2006 Speed Yellow Cayman S. I've started looking for a replacement and in reading articles and watching videos of comparisons between the Lotus Evora and Cayman, I thought I'd have a closer look at the Evora before I settled on a late model used Cayman. The car...
I've been driving a 987.2 Boxster Base for a little over two years. I'm very happy with my Meteor Grey beauty, but I'm open to a new experience. I've been looking at 2014-2015 981's (and some 997.2 911's). Did anyone here come into the 981 after a stint with 987.2 ownership? What are some things...
Has anyone had this happen to their leather seats? I have no idea why the leather appears to be flaking off. I always get in very carefully and I will say that I never carry anything in my pockets that would cause this. It is near the bottom of the side bolster.
My car has 3700 miles on it...
Hi all, I am in the process of buying a 987.2 Boxster and am totally confused about Range 1 over revs...
I've read in multiple places that Range 1 is 7,200-7,500 rpm:

But the redline on 987.2 is...
