I am trying to get a set of Winter wheel/tire package for my new C4S (2007 model) and I am not sure if I should go for 18" or 19"?

Anyone got a pic of 997 C4S on 18s? Does it look funny?

I got the following options....

- NEW Sport Cup 4 wheels + Michelin PA2 - 18" 235/265 --> $1600
- Blemished Carrera Classic 19" (but not used)+ Pirelli Sottozero Winter 240 - 19" 235/295 --> $2500
- Carrera Classic 3 18" + Michelin PA2 - 18" 235/265 --> $2838
- Carrera S2 wheels 19" + Pirelli Sottozero Winter 240 - 19" 235/295 --> $3180

The 19" Carrera wheels are a STEAL (scratched at install or what not, so taken off new car), but I am not sure if 19" Winter tires at that width and narrow sidewall are any good in snow. Also, the Sport Cup4 wheels are an option at good price, but they are HEAVY and hmm, FAKE!

- Any experience with 18 vs. 19 in the snow?
- Michelin vs. Pirelli, any better than the other?
- shall I pay a bit more for 18" now, and save later in tire replacement?
- Is it worth it to pay for Porsche wheels for Winter?
- Does 18inch look funny on Widebody C4S?

Sorry for all the questions, a new P-car owner!
