The 19" Forgeline GA1R wheel sets have been very popular lately for owners hitting the track with their GT4's.
Optimal wheel sizes are 9x19" front and 11x19" rear with 265/35/19 Hoosier R7 to help dial out the factory setting understeer and either 295/30/19 or 295/35/19 Hoosier R7 rears.

We have put together a special package deal for P9 members looking for the best track wheel/tire setup available that includes;
Forgeline GA1R open lug 9x19" and 11x19" in standard finish (optional finishes also available at higher cost)
Hoosier 265/35/19 R7 and either 295/30/19 or 295/35/19 Hoosier R7
Beru TPMS

Shipping to your door for a ready to mount track solution.

PM for the special P9 package price.

Hard to say Joe. Perhaps their standard offsets don't work and they sell a limited selection of wheels, vs Forgeline who custom manufacturers each set to the customer specs.

I recently put 19x11 rims on my 14 Cayman S. I'll admit that I didn't even look at this clearance at the time. Recently, a fellow P-9er, 38Cayman, emailed me asking me to check and indeed it is very, very close on the regular suspension, maybe 4mm clearance. So on the standard car, the thickness of the rim lip determines if the rim will fit. If Porsche moved the GT4 toe link in any closer, it will take a special rim to fit. 20x11 inches work, obviously.

There remains 3mm of clearance with the 19" forgeline GA1R's.

Can you get the black wheels with a yellow stripe? Does the black have to be gloss or can it be satin? You might want to fill in some info about these wheels in our GT4 Track Tuning WIKI that I just put up as I'm sure other members would find it helpful! TIA!

Foregline offers an extensive list of standard colors (black, silver, gold, gunmetal, graphite, titanium, red, yellow, etc) in gloss, satin, and matte finishes. You can definitely get them in black with a yellow stripe. We just completed a set in black with a red stripe. The stripe requires incremental finish time so there is a $75/wheel uncharge for it.

The 19" Forgeline GA1R open lug wheels have been a extremely popular setup for the GT4. CompetitionMotorsport has several sets in production with Forgeline and we have them available in Satin pearl Gray, Satin Black and Satin Gold (color samples attached). Let us know if you have questions, or if you're ready for a new set of Forgeline Wheels.

Thank you for the orders guys. We have 1 remaining set of the 19" GA1R in the GT4 setup available yet. Still time to pick your finish. Currently there is a 6 week wait time for a new set of 1-piece wheels from Forgeline. These will be ready to ship in only 3 weeks. Btwy we are now building more sets with the 10.5" wide rear compared to the 11.0" (still fits a 295 nicely) to allow for extra margin of safety for clearing the rear LCA. Let us know how we can help.

We have ordered another pallet of the 19" GS1R in GT4 fitment for early July production. We have 2 GT4 sets left on the latest order and there is still time to spec your desired finish.

Contact us today for a great package deal on wheels and tires.

The GS1R's look just like the GA1R but have been lightened further with additional milling which saves about another pound per wheel while maintaining the same load rating (2100lbs per wheel on street tires) of the GA1R.

The GS1R are the same wheels used successfully by many top TUDOR/IMSA race series teams.

Designed for professional racing teams competing in the United Sportscar CTSCC Grand Sport (GS) class, the Forgeline GS1R combines the latest in advanced wheel technology, including one piece forged monoblock construction, motorsport engineered design, and I-beamed spokes. This wheel is engineered to withstand the rigors of top-level endurance racing with a 2100 lb street tire load rating and exceptional deflection stiffness.

Though made from the same forgings and similar design as our GA1R street wheel, the GS1R has even more material machined from the center area for additional weight reduction and improved access to the lugs. In combination with a new chamfered outer lip (with fewer sharp edges for easier handling), this enables faster wheel changes and, depending on size and offset, can save an additional pound of mass from each wheel!

Is there a reason why these cannot be used on the street? I imagine there isn't since they are made of the same material.

Big thanks to Brian at Competition Motorsport. Can't wait to try these out on track.

Quick pics of GS1R with RE71R tires.

There's about 1/2" (closest to the hub)- 3/4" (farthest away from the hub) clearance between the caliper face and back of the spokes. A lot more clearance than OE wheels.

VX1R
New lightweight race wheel released by Forgeline at SEMA this year. We have ordered a number of sets that will be ready for shipping in a couple weeks. Contact us today to spec your custom finish.

If you like the look of our popular VX1 but need a load rating that is suitable for dedicated track duty, then the VX1R was engineered for you! The VX1R is a full track-ready competition wheel equal in weight and strength to our famous GA1R and GS1R Competition Series wheels.

The VX1R features a sharp Y-spoke design (with long spokes that wrap around the lug holes), striking sharp angles, deep concave profile, and chamfered outer edge. The Forgeline VX1R is a fully-forged one-piece monoblock wheel that utilizes manufacturing technology similar to our very successful GA1R wheel. Beyond just beautiful style, the VX1R is engineered to allow plenty of room for caliper clearance and extreme brake fitment. And the one-piece monoblock forging and computer-simulated FEA design process yield a wheel that is lightweight, stiff, and has excellent fatigue strength.

The VX1R is machined from a single forging of 6061-T6 aluminum. It is currently available in 18, 19, 20, and 21-inch diameters with a range of widths and offsets. It can be made to accommodate most 5-lug and centerlock applications. (Please Note: Depending on size, the VX1R may be available in deep, medium, or shallow concave profiles. See sizing chart for details.) And just like any Forgeline wheel, the VX1R is available with fully customizable finish options.

Concave Profile
Sharp Y-Spoke Design
Striking Sharp Angles
Strong Chamfered Machining Details
Lightweight
Load Rated for Motorsport Applications
