19" vs 20" Wheels on 981, show me your pictures!

Hi All, I'm getting my 981 next week (currently have a 987).
And I will definitely upgrade the rims to Carrera S or Carrera Sport style (comes w/ 18").

Can you please show your pictures and experience please - although it's clear 20" will look better I prefer 19" for a smother ride, I hope to see how the 19" fill the wells vs. the 20".

Thanks in advance!

2013 Boxster S. Original owner mounted 19 inch HRE wheels to replace the original 19 inch Boxster S factory wheels. I love how the black wheels work with the Mexico Blue. But, if I'm honest, I feel like there is a strange dynamic in slow tight turns. The feedback through the steering wheel feels like the wheels are too big almost like the wheels are pushing back against my hands. Maybe the offset is slightly different from OEM.

I just mounted 18 inch lobster forks from a 987.2 for my winter setup and I actually like how the steering feels now compared to the 19s. They don't look quite as good but they feel better. It's a tough emotional perspective.

Mine came with Carrera 20’s and F1 tires. Ride is just fine even on our fabulous California freeways!

Use the comfort fill setting, makes the ride pretty nice. I came from an E36 M3 with 17s and this runs just about the same if not slightly smoother with the comfort fill checked.

Decided to stay with 19's for ride quality and IMO, they look fine. I prefer the fatter tire sidewall over the 1" bigger rim wheel look.

I also went up one size in tires front and rear and the spec was perfect...while filling in the wheel gap a tad...and feels a bit more sure footed on the road.

Above: I have 20" Carrera wheels with spacers (15mm back/7mm front). I later added an X73 sport suspension which lowered the car, an closed the wheel gap even more.

I was using 19 on Pzero N spec. Changed to 18 street/track wheel on MPSS increased width to 245/40/ front plus -2 camber and 275/40 rear More grip on 18 and much smoother ride. Front and rear equally grippy no longer rear goes first.
I have a 2013 Boxster. The original 18x45 Dunlops were poor handling and wearing out after 25,000 miles and 5 years. I replaced them with Michelin Sport 4S but in 40 aspect since 45 is not made.
Now my car feels like a new great sports car, especially in handling, cornering (no more skids), and noise. I have calculated my milage and speed are off 3-4%.

thanks for sharing your setup looks cool!
I ABSOLUTELLY love the new Carrera design - I think is the rear rims are 10" so 0.5 inch wider than the 20" OEM set up for the 981. Anyone know if it will be an issue???
