Hello

I am looking at a 2007 Cayman S with 70.000 Miles (manual transmission)
owner is willing to have car PPI at any dealership of my choice

this is also what the owner said:

"the engine is good - , just replacedthe clutch kit before selling - and things looked fine to the mechanic -

wanted the clutch to be new for next driver - it had 30% or so life left

2007 - all original miles on the factory motor -

also replaced water pump and oil separator around 5 or 6 months ago - which are common issues on the cayman Porsche knew those issues at launch - , but of course didn’t tell anyone -

it’s had the major service at 60,000 done -

no after market , or racing - just normal driving around

he also said:

brakes were replaced a bit ago , around 10,000 miles on the Oem brakes"

any advice appreciated.

Thanks

All those maintenance items being addressed is good for you the buyer. Those are typical weaknesses of the 987.1. 10K mi on brakes is nothing if it's not being tracked. Might want to inquire about the cond of the tires. They can cost $800-$1100 depending on what brand you buy. Any accident history?

I'd say if the price is right and the car passes a PPI, no reason not to go for it.
