I washed my Cayman this evening and as I was drying it
noticed that there was condensation inside the headlight
and a spider web sort of pattern at the bottom.

Picture is attached. The condensation dissipated pretty
quickly and when gone the spider web pattern disappeared.

Is this something anyone else has seen? Should I take it
in to the dealer?

Yeah, my dealer replaced the unit. Amazingly easy to do. It's
a single unit that just pops out and in. No wires, just a special
tool and one twist. A pretty cool design.

Note however that the replacement bulb was not aligned correctly.
Make sure they check that if you get replacements.

I had the exact same issue with my right headlight assembly on my 09. I was told by my dealer that these lights are sealed and should not have condensation forming on the inside. They ordered a new assembly from Germany and replaces it under warranty in about 15 minutes.
