Hello, the idle of my Cayman S seems to fluctuate (when fully warmed up) - it fluctuates up and down by ~100-200 RPM and can feel a bit rough a times. I thought this was only at idle, but today I noticed that the RPMs slightly fluctuate when driving at a constant engine speed as well (you can see the RPMs moving slightly at speed). The spark plugs have been replaced and the car has approximately 22k miles.

Any thoughts regarding what could be causing this? Thanks for your help.

It could be a lot of things but you can try cleaning the MAF sensor. Just make sure you use a cleaner made for it. carb and choke cleaner may damage it.

I forgot to mention that I already tried cleaning the MAF sensor and that doesn't appear to be the cause of the problem.

My guess is some sort of vacuum leak. Have the AOS checked, make sure the oil cap is on and tight.

Coils were changed as well. Do the 2009s (987.2) have air oil separators, and if so, are they prone to problems? Oil cap is on tight. Thanks for your help.
