Check with your dealer, even if the car is out of warranty. Don't glue it or otherwise mess with it. This has happened to quite a few people lately, so the dealer may already be familiar with the problem.
Funny, my '13 Boxster S just went in for this issue, too. Since I've got the beige interior, they said it was going to take at least a few weeks to get the part in.Hello everyone! I need help please... i just got a 2013 boxster s and the door panel popped out. It's on the top part where the window and the door panel meets. I have tried pushing it down but it won't stay on. Do i have to glue this one down? please help. I will update with photos tomorrow.

It is a manufacturing defect covered by the factory. My 2 panels detached and have been replaced with new ones .Hello everyone!
