I recently purchased a 2013 Carrera S and I'm having a recurring problem that the dealer hasn't been able to solve - the passenger airbag warning light keeps coming on.

I initially thought that when I pushed the passenger seat back all the way that a plug got disconnected, but they didn't find that.

They said that they reset the code, but now it's happened for the 3rd time.

Has anyone here seen anything similar to this?

Thanks!

Yes - and it was a weird one...

The previous owner had the windshield replaced and it wasn't sealed properly. Every time I washed it a few trickles of water would make their way in and short out the control module. The dealer found this after replacing the whole airbag control module and having the car for over 2 weeks and multiple visits.

I got a new windshield installed and it's been perfect ever since.
