I checked the corner weight of my 2014 Cayman S. Let me preface the below numbers by saying that I think the factory engineering of this car is fantastic right out of the box, with perhaps the actual nuts and bolts alignment which I recently had corrected at my dealer. Anyway, here are my numbers. I used a Longacre computer scale set, and I am fortunate to have my own two post lift. All scale pads leveled to within 0.10 degree of each other.

Stock, sway bars connected, no ballast:
LF 677 RF 679
LR 887 RR 877
LR-RF cross was 50.2%, LF-RR was 49.8% total weight 3120

Stock, sway bars disconnected, no driver ballast (virtually no change):
LF 687 RF 676
LR 881 RR 886

Now the good news, 240 lbs drivers ballast, sway bar disconnected:
LF 741 RF 706
LR 965 RR 923

LF-RR Cross was 49.8%, LR-RF Cross was 50.2%, total weight 3333 lbs

As you can see, no worries about the weight distribution of this car!

Just thought I'd share

No, 240 lbs of bagged concrete mix, 4-60 lb bags evenly distributed in seats
You put bags of concrete mix on your seats?

Thanks for the information. Now I don't have to do that myself. ;)

Yeah, one bag was only open just a little, I think I can get the cement out with a little muriatic acid. Was that a bad thing:crazy:

Just use some lye to neutralize the acid and you'll be good to go!

Interesting. Those are very good numbers out of the box!
