Hey guys - I'm looking at replacing my rear bumper on my 2009 Cayman and I what OEM options I have? Where can I buy the part or do I have to purchase it through the dealer. I'm only looking at replacement because of a tiny crack on the bottom. You can't even see it unless you crawl under.

Thanks

For a large body part like this, I would think your only choices would be a Porsche dealer, or a dismantler. Plus maybe a take-off from a racer who has modified their car. Obviously would be cheaper used, but then would likely require repaint.

I'm not saying that our bumper material is suitable for plastic welding, but it's certainly worth looking into before buying an entire rear fascia just because of a hidden crack. It's done all the time on various car bits, motorcycle fairings & such, so call around to related places nearby and you might get off super cheap.
