Received the long awaited letter from PCNA today. The finger follower wear issue is well known and it was expected Porsche would extend the engine warranty for that issue. I expected it to be a narrow enhancement just for the finger followers. The letter states:
"Effective at once, the limited warranty on all your vehicle's internal engine components continues for ten years from your vehicle's original in-service date, up to 120,000 total miles on your vehicle, whichever occurs first."
So, that's broader than I expected. The GT3 engine problems are unfortunate, but have to say they have stepped up and stood behind the car.
